Rental Agreement
By renting a vehicle from TS Rentals & Recovery, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms form part of the rental agreement between you (the renter) and TS Rentals & Recovery (the company).
Driver Requirements
The primary driver must be at least 21 years of age and hold a valid driver's licence that has been issued for at least 3 years. Two forms of identification are required (e.g. Passport, National ID, Driver's Licence). An international driving permit may be required for non-Jamaican licence holders staying longer than 3 months.
Security Deposit
A refundable security deposit is required for all rentals. The deposit amount varies depending on the vehicle tier and will be communicated at the time of booking. The deposit is fully refundable upon return of the vehicle in the agreed condition.
Insurance
Basic third-party liability coverage is included with all rentals. Additional coverage options are available at an extra daily charge. It is the renter's responsibility to select and confirm the desired level of coverage. The renter is liable for any damage not covered by the selected insurance plan.
Fuel Policy
Vehicles are provided with a set level of fuel and must be returned at the same level. A refuelling charge will apply if the vehicle is returned with less fuel than provided.
Vehicle Use
The rental vehicle may be driven anywhere in Jamaica on paved public roads. Off-road driving, racing, or use of the vehicle for any illegal activity is strictly prohibited. The renter is responsible for all traffic fines and tolls incurred during the rental period.
Late Returns
A grace period of 1 hour is allowed. After this period, a full additional day's charge will apply for each day or part thereof that the vehicle is not returned.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled pickup date will receive a full refund. Cancellations within 48 hours may be subject to a cancellation fee equivalent to one day's rental charge.
Damage & Liability
The renter is responsible for any damage to the vehicle during the rental period that is not covered by the selected insurance plan. TS Rentals reserves the right to charge the renter's deposit or payment method for any damage, loss, or outstanding charges.
